Records connected to physical equipment
Scattered records make it difficult to establish equipment assignments, inspection dates and events relating to a particular item. Asset Intelligence is intended to connect asset identification with an organised usage history.
The solution is under development. Access, identification methods, data sources and field workflows must be defined for the intended use. The website demonstrates the concept; it is not a report from a military deployment.

Does NFC locate equipment?
An NFC identifier alone does not provide GPS location. It supports close-range reading and a connection to a record.
